
Rapids to Host 7th Annual World Cup of Wine and Beer on June 11

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Wednesday, May 14, 2014) - The Colorado Rapids and Kroenke Sports Charities will hold the 7th annual World Cup of Wine and Beer charity tasting event on Wednesday, June 11 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Fans are invited to attend the event, which will feature food and libations from a variety of restaurants including Rapids partners and area businesses. The event is hosted by Rapids players and coaches.
The event runs from 6-9 p.m. on the concourse at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, with tickets available for $75 per person. Entry includes beer, wine, spirits, and food tastings, as well as gaming tables, silent auction, photo booth and live music by members of the Colorado Symphony. The World Cup of Wine and Beer is one of several fundraising events put on annually by Kroenke Sports Charities, Proceeds benefit education, health and fitness programs in Colorado supported by Kroenke Sports Charities.
