COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Monday, May 2, 2011) - After breaking a three game losing streak with a draw against Chicago Fire on Saturday, April 30, the Rapids have two days at home to prepare for a challenging road trip. They will play three away games in an 11 day span, first taking on the Houston Dynamo at Robertson Stadium on Wednesday, May 4 at 6:30 pm (MT) and then traveling to play the New England Revolution and later D.C. United.
The Dynamo are 3-1-3 and will go into Wednesday's match hot after a 4-1 victory over D.C. United on 4/29. All-time the Rapids trail Houston 4-7-3 and have never beaten them as the visiting team. The Rapids players and coaches hope for the return of many injured players to strengthen the roster for this week's matches.
