Rapid City's Keaton Hartigan Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (January 21, 2014) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Rapid City Rush goaltender Keaton Hartigan has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending January 19, 2014.

The Kitchener, Ontario native won both of his starts last week, both against rival Denver. Hartigan was forced into more regular action with Tim Boron, the league's top goalie, forced to the injured reserve. In Friday's 4-1 win over the Cutthroats, the rookie stopped 27 of 28 shots and then on Saturday, he made 34 saves in a shootout win (stopped all four shooters he faced in the shootout).

On the season, the former University of Waterloo netminder is 6-4-0 with a 2.50 goals against average and a .911 save percentage.
