
Rangers Win Eighth Straight

Kitchener, ON: The Rangers used three unanswered goals tonight to beat the visiting Sudbury Wolves 3-2 before a crowd of 6,077.
After the Wolves went up 2-0 midway through the second period Matt Halischuk scored his 26th goal of the season at 19:31 to cut the Wolves lead to 2-1. With just three seconds to play in the period Victor Oreskovich continued his hot play with his 23rd goal.
Oreskovich scored the eventual game winner burying his 24th goal of the season just 1:57 into the period.
John Murray was solid in goal again stopping 22 shots for his league leading 31st win of the season. Murray now has a 31-6-1-1 record.
The Rangers next home game is Friday, February 2nd against the Guelph Storm. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
