Rangers Special Edition Game Used Stick Auction

The Kitchener Rangers will be sticking it to cancer on Friday, February 18th, 2011 with a special edition game used stick auction.

Rangers' players will take to the ice with specially designed lavender sticks to raise awareness about cancer in our community and pay tribute to those who are dealing or who have dealt with the disease.

There will be two ways that fans can obtain these special edition autographed game used sticks. One set of sticks will be available through a silent auction at the game versus the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors on February 18th while another set will be available through an online auction at kitchenerrangers.com starting on February 18th.

All proceeds will be donated to HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre. Since 1995, people with cancer in Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and the surrounding area have found inspiration, information, and empowerment at HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre. Their programs and services are confidential, free of charge, and open to people at all stages of treatment and their caregivers.
