Kitchener lost 4-2 to the London Knights in what was the highest-attended Kitchener home game since October 19th, 2012, at 7,523 fans. The Rangers went up by two goals early in the second period, but London scored four unanswered throughout the rest of the game.
Matthew Andonovski, Hunter Brzustewicz and Trent Swick each extended their point streaks in the contest. Matthew Andonovski moved to three games, Hunter Brzustewicz improved to four games and Trent Swick leads the team with a five-game point streak.

Matthew Andonovski got the first goal of the game just 30 seconds into the second frame with a wrist shot from the point. Hunter Brzustewicz sent a pass across the blueline to Andonovski who fired a wrist shot through traffic past Michael Simpson.

A flick over Michael Simpson by Cameron Mercer put the Rangers up two goals early in the second period. Mercer received a pass from the high slot from Justin Bottineau and dished the puck quickly over the glove of Simpson.

12:01 Kasper Halttunen (22) - Kaleb Lawrence, Isaiah George
London cut the lead in half with a goal scored by Kasper Halttunen. Halttunen tipped the puck down from the point to Kaleb Lawrence. While Lawrence held the puck Halttunen drove toward the net and received a pass through the crease eventually tipping it in for London's first of the game.

Easton Cowan buried his own rebound while shorthanded to tie the game at two. Sam O'Reilly held the puck behind Jackson Parsons and sent a pass out front to Cowan. Cowan fired the puck on net and the rebound bounced out right back to him, which he put in to tie the game.

4:00 Jacob Julien (19) - Easton Cowan, Oliver Bonk - PPG
Rangers' penalty trouble led to London's go-ahead goal four minutes into the third period. Max Dirracolo was given a boarding penalty at 2:47 and Simon Motew a double-minor for high sticking at 2:55 leading to a near full two-minute five-on-three powerplay for London. 1:05 into the five on three Jacob Julien scored on a passing play. Oliver Bonk held the puck beside Jackson Parsons and sent it up to the top of the circle to Easton Cowan. Cowan sent the puck horizontally to Julien who one-timed it in past Parsons to give London their first lead of the game.

Easton Cowan picked up a clearing attempt knocked down by Simon Motew at centre ice and skated it into the empty Kitchener net to seal the game for London.

Michael Simpson got the win for London giving up two goals on 25 shots and moving his record to 23-7-0-0 on the year. Jackson Parsons was in net for Kitchener, standing strong making 33 saves on 36 shots despite the loss. His record this season moved to 18-10-1-0.
