LAST WEEK IN REVIEW

RAMPAGE UPDATE: The Rampage went 2-3-0-0 this week, playing five games in six days, to end the season at 6th in the West Division. Tuesday night's game against Milwaukee led to a 3-2 victory, improving to 2-4-0 overall against the Admirals. Vaclav Nedorost scored twice, including the game-winner, marking the first goal of the night at 6:25 after Milwaukee tied the game at 2-2 early in the third. Greg Crozier added a tally for the Rampage, which moved within three points of the final playoff spot in the West Division. Goalie Travis Scott had 30 of 39 saves over the final two periods to take the win. In Chicago on Wednesday, Kamil Piros and Victor Uchevatov both notched goals in the second period and Lukas Krajicek scored early in the third to tie the score, 3-3. The Wolves answered back with just seven seconds left to lift the final score to a 3-4 loss for the Rampage. In the last road game of the season on Friday, Michel Periard and Lee Goren scored against Grand Rapids for the Rampage, which was eliminated from playoff contention with its loss coupled with Cincinnati's 4-0 victory over Houston. Scott made 27 saves in the 3-2 defeat. Returning home to face Utah on Saturday, San Antonio's Paul Healey scored with 60 seconds left in the second period, notching the lone goal for San Antonio. Brent Krahn had 15 saves, falling to 5-10-1 on the season. In Sunday's game against Grand Rapids, the Rampage pulled away 4-3 in the final match-up of the season. Goren provided a goal and an assist to help San Antonio to the victory. Uchevatov gave the Rampage a 4-2 lead 4:54 into the third period with his third goal in 74 games. Scott turned aside 28 shots to pick up the win, snapping a three game losing streak, and ending the season with a win for the Rampage.
