Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Texas Stars
Cedar Park Center, 7:30 p.m.
San Antonio takes on the Texas Stars tonight at the Cedar Park Center in a battle against their West Division rivals. The Stars are 13-14-0-1 this year and are third in the Lone Star Faceoff standings with a mark of 4-7-0-0.
Friday, Dec. 30 vs. Houston Aeros AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Aeros will repay the Rampage's Monday visit to Houston by making the trek to San Antonio on Friday. The Aeros' 17-6-2-7 record has them in second place in the West Dvision and their combined mark of 8-1-2-1 against the Ram- page and Stars has them in first in the Lone Star Faceoff standings.
Saturday, Dec. 31 @ Oklahoma City Barons
Cox Convention Center, 7:00 p.m.
San Antonio concludes a slate of four divisional games in six days with a trip to Oklahoma City on New Year's Eve to play the AHL-leading Barons. The Ram- page are 1-3-0-0 versus Oklahoma City through four meetings between the two clubs this season.
RAMPAGE TV GAMES- Dec. 27 & 30 : The Rampage will broadcast two games this week on Fox Sports Southwest. The first game to be aired will be their road game tonight against the Texas Stars followed by a home game on Friday, Dec. 30 against the Houston Aeros.
KZEP DOLLAR DRINK NIGHT- Dec. 30: Every Friday fans can get $1 draft beer and $1 fountain soda.
BACK TO .500: Thanks to a 7-3-1-0 surge, the Rampage are back at the .500 mark. In their last 11 games, San Antonio is plus-7 in goal differential and has allowed more than two goals in a game just once. In the 11-game span their penalty kill is operating at an 89.1 percent success rate.
THOMAS TAKES HIS TALENTS TO SOUTH BEACH: After posting 17 points in 25 games with San Antonio, forward Bill Thomas was signed to an NHL contract with the Florida Panthers last week. In three games with Florida so far, Thomas has registered four shots on goal and is averaging 8:47 in ice time per game.
PANTHERS RELYING ON RAMPAGE: The Florida Panthers, the Rampage's NHL parent, have recalled eight different San Antonio players this season who have combined to play a total of 62 games with Florida. Conversely, the Rampage have lost those players to a total of 68 man games at the AHL level because of recalls. San Antonio's highest number of recalls came during the 2003-04 campaign, when the Rampage had 21 players play 378 games with Florida.
EQUALLY OPPORTUNISTIC: After picking up a point in last night's overtime loss at Houston, the Ram- page have now tallied 13 points in 13 road games this season, which nearly mirrors their 16 points in 16 home games in 2011-12. San Antonio has also given up a total of 27 goals to the opposition in each period so far this season.
ICE CHIPS: Michael Caruso - Defenseman San Antonio defenseman Michael Caruso potted his first goal of the season in last night's loss to the Houston Aeros. The marker was the Rampage's only goal of the night in their 2-1 overtime loss at the Toyota Center.
Caruso has also totaled 27 penalty minutes in 24 games this season.
The 23-year-old Mississauga, Ontario native has regis- tered eight goals and 23 assists in 239 career AHL games.
