
Rampage Sign Olsen and Brown to AHL Deals

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage today announced that center Ryan Olsen and defenseman Travis Brown have been signed to AHL contracts.
Olsen, 24, split the 2017-18 season spending time with Znojmo Orli HC of the Austrian Elite League as well as the Utah Grizzlies and Colorado Eagles of the ECHL. The Delta, B.C. native and fifth year professional totaled 26 goals and 51 points in 57 regular season games and helped the Eagles to their second consecutive Kelly Cup after notching five goals and 11 points in 22 postseason contests.
A sixth round draft choice by the Winnipeg Jets in 2012, Olsen has collected 17 goals, 16 assists and 33 points in 181 career American Hockey League games with the Manitoba Moose and St. John's IceCaps.
Brown, 24, posted career bests with 10 goals, 26 assists, and 36 points in 67 games last season with the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL. The Winnipeg, Man. native and fourth year professional has totaled 21 goals and 72 points in 158 games in his ECHL career. Selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Brown has one goal in four career AHL contests with the San Jose Barracuda and St. John's IceCaps.
