Rampage Sign Goaltender Rejean Beauchemin to PTO

SAN ANTONIO (February 6, 2012) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed goaltender Rejean Beauchemin to a professional try-out (PTO).

Beauchemin, 26, has appeared in 20 games with the Allen Americans (CHL) this season posting a 12-4-4 record with a .932 save percentage. In 25 career AHL games, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native has posted a 5-15-1 record with a .855 save percentage and a 3.71 goals against average split between Philadelphia (2005-07), Houston (2008-09) and Manitoba (2009-10). He was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the sixth round (191st overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Rampage embark on their 10th annual Rodeo road trip with their first stop in Hamilton, Ontario tomorrow morning for a 9 a.m. start against the Bulldogs. The team will play 11 games in 23 days and will cover 7,310 miles. Follow the Rampage's progress on the road trip at sarampage.com.
