
Rampage Send Lukacevic and Lunden to Las Vegas

SAN ANTONIO (April 12, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club have reassigned forwards Ned Lukacevic and Josh Lunden to their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers.
Both players are expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Wranglers host the Idaho Steelheads in a decisive Game 5 in the first round of the ECHL Playoffs.
Lukacevic, 25, appeared in 38 games with the Rampage this season recording four goals and nine assists. He also skated in 17 games with the Wranglers this season posting eight goals and 10 assists.
Last season, the Podgorica, Montenegro native appeared in five playoff games with the Wranglers tallying two goals and two assists. His previous playoff experience includes one goal and one assist in 15 career AHL playoff games split between Manchester (2006) and Providence (2009). Lukacevic has appeared in 13 career ECHL postseason games recording two goals and four assists split between Reading (2008) and Las Vegas (2010).
Lukacevic was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Lunden, 25, appeared in 12 Rampage games this season and collected eight points (5 goals, 3 assists) in 11 games with the Wranglers. He is expected to make his first professional playoff appearance tonight.
Last season, Lunden skated in eight games and posted two assists with the Rampage after completing his senior season at the University of Alaska-Anchorage (NCAA). The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia native spent four seasons in Anchorage totaling 84 points (47 goals, 37 assists) in 126 games with the Sea Wolves. He was named to the WCHA All-Academic Team three times (2008-2010).
