San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that defenseman Gabriel Beaupre has been reassigned to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Fort Wayne Komets.

Beaupre was on San Antonio's opening-night roster, but didn't skate in a game before being reassigned to the Komets on Oct. 26. He's played in 16 games with Fort Wayne, recording 26 penalty minutes. He was recalled by San Antonio on Dec. 16.

A sixth-round pick (153 overall) of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2011 NHL Draft, Beaupre split last season with the Komets and the Lake Erie Monsters, recording a goal and three assists in 35 games with the Monsters and notching two goals and five assists in 11 contests with Fort Wayne.

The Rampage head to Des Moines for a two-game series with the Iowa Wild on Sunday and Monday. San Antonio returns home on Dec. 27 at 4 p.m. against the Texas Stars, which will be the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss game, presented by H-E-B. Individual and season tickets are available and can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com.
