Today's Game: The San Antonio Rampage resume play tonight against division rival, the Chicago Wolves, after a 1-0 shutout win over the Utah Grizzlies which eliminated a four-game winless streak (0-2-0-2)... The Rampage enter tonight's game sitting 5th in the West Division with a 7-7-2-2 record (18 pts.)... The Rampage are 4-2-1-0 at home with their win coming from their last home game on Nov. 11 against Milwaukee... With last night's overtime loss to Grand Rapids, Chicago moved ahead the Rampage in the division standings... Chicago is playing their third game in as many nights tonight... Following tonight's game, the Rampage travel to Houston on Friday for a 7:35 p.m. start.
Against Chicago Wolves: Tonight's game is the first time that the Rampage host Chicago at the SBC Center for the 2004-05 season, while marking their second meeting (of 10) between the two clubs this season... The Rampage are 0-1-0-0 so far this season against Chicago and are 6-11-4-0 all-time... In their only meeting this year, Chicago (8-6-2-1; 19 pts) defeated the Rampage 7-1 in Chicago on Oct. 27... The Wolves are 3-4-1-1 on the road this season and are 3-1-1-0 in their last five games.

SAVE MONITOR: Netminder Patrick DesRocher's shut out the Utah Grizzlies in his last start (Nov. 24) stopping all 22 shots. Entering tonight's game his save monitor continues at 69 minutes and 26 seconds, stemming from the Nov. 20 game at Norfolk. The last goal allowed came at 10:34 in the 3rd period (empty-net goal scored at 19:48 in the 3rd).
OFFENSIVE DEFENSMAN: Rampage's defenseman Lukas Krajicek has been the only scoring component that has recorded a point in all but one of the team's wins this season. Krajicek has recorded 1-6-7 totals in the club's seven wins. Left wing Gregory Campbell has logged a point in five of the seven games. Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester (2-3-5) and center Greg Jacina (3-3-6) trail with four games in which they recorded a point and the team has won.
300 CLUB: Head Coach Steve Ludzik captured his 300th career victory when the Rampage defeated Utah on Nov. 24 with a 1-0 shutout.
ROOKIE ON A RAMPAGE: Center Greg Jacina ranks among the top in two rookie statistical categories. He ranks 4th in shooting percentage (.192), and T-17th in points (8).
THE WEST WING: Entering tonight's game, the Rampage will finish off the month of November against a West Division opponent. The Rampage, who are currently 6-4-2-1 against their division rivals, are slated to play 56 contests against their division foes this season. In addition, San Antonio will face two Atlantic Division opponents (HFD, WOR) totaling four games, one East Division opponent (NOR) for four games and five North Division opponents (EDM, MTB, CLE, ROC, SYR) totaling 16 games. The Rampage, were 21-32-7-0 in 60 games against West Division opponents last season.
TARGET PRACTICE: The Rampage have been out-shot in 14 of their 18 games (77.8%) this season (460-552). In those 14 games, the Rampage has given up at least 30 shots nine times (two of those are above 40); most coming from the 3rd period (125-187).
GREAT SCOTT!!!: Travis Scott is currently the active-leader in AHL career shutouts. He has 21 in 260+ career games while Maxime Ouellet is in second place with 18. Scott's last shutout came against Syracuse on November 5, 2004 (5-0) at the SBC Center...The Rampage goalie set a franchise single-game record by saving 56 shots in a 4-2 victory over Cincinnati last season (Oct. 16, 2003)

Patrick DesRochers stopped all 22 shots faced and Chris Nielsen scored his second consecutive goal in as many nights, proving to be the game winner as the San Antonio Rampage shutout the Utah Grizzlies 1-0. DesRochers recorded his fourth career shutout, helping the Rampage end a four-game winless streak. The Rampage netminder's last shutout was March 24, 2002 against Providence. Similar to the previous night, Nielsen scored his second goal of the season at the 9:14 mark in the second period. Ryan Jardine and Gregory Campbell assisted on the goal and kept Utah from their first win streak of the season.
