
Rampage Beat Aeros in Facebook Face-Off Contest

SAN ANTONIO (April 14, 2011) -The San Antonio Rampage are pleased to announce that they have won the Facebook Face-Off contest with long-time I-10 rivals, the Houston Aeros.
The contest kicked off on March 19 and ran through April 10 in which the Rampage gained 3,025 new "likes" on Facebook while the Houston Aeros gained 1,381 new "likes". As part of the Facebook Face-Off guideline, the Houston Aeros will make a monetary donation to the Rampage's Face-Off Against Kids Cancer Program. The goal of the contest was to see which team could garner the most new followers by the end of the regular season and the team that received the fewest new followers agreed to make a monetary donation to the charity of the winning team's choice.
Throughout the Facebook Face-Off, the Rampage ran a program titled "Clickin' for Chicken" in which all fans who "liked" the Rampage received a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. Fans also had a chance to win exclusive Rampage merchandise, game tickets, San Antonio Spurs playoff tickets, a Spurs 2010-11 team autograph ball and Rampage fan experiences!
