Ramon Del Campo Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

FRESNO, Calif. - Defender Ramon Martin Del Campo was selected to the USL Championship Team of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. Del Campo scored the game-winning goal and recorded six recoveries and six clearances and won a combined 14 of 23 duels in the Foxes' 2-1 road win against OKC Energy FC.

This is Del Campo's first TOTW award this season and fifth of his three-year USL career. He received the honor twice last season and twice in 2017 with Ottawa Fury FC. It is also the 12th time a Fresno FC player has been selected to the Team of the Week this season.

The other Foxes who have been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week in 2019 are: left back Alex Cooper (Week 1), midfielder Arun Basuljevic (Week 2), forward Christian Chaney (Week 9), midfielder Jackson (Week 10), forward Qudus Lawal (Week 12), midfielder Jemal Johnson (Weeks 6, 15 and 16), Elijah Martin (Week 18), and goalkeeper CJ Cochran (Week 3 and 19).

Fresno FC (12-3-7, 43 points) is in third place in the USL's Western Conference, and hosts fourth-place Real Monarchs SLC (10-7-4) this Friday, August 16 at Chukchansi Park. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. PT.
