Fresno FC vs. LA Galaxy II Preview

October 12, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) - Fresno FC News Release

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno (16-8-8) hosts LA Galaxy II on Saturday night in the club's final home match of the regular season at Chukchansi Park. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT. The Foxes, which took a 3-0 win at Los Dos earlier this season, can complete the sweep Saturday with a win against LA and secure the No. 2-seed in the Western Conference Playoffs should Reno draw to tie at Las Vegas. Fresno is looking to bounce back from a tough 4-1 loss against Tacoma that also saw the club lose three in a row for the first time in club history. Getting back on track for playoffs won't come easy for the Foxes, as Los Dos are also fighting to keep their playoff chances alive as they sit in ninth place and will need any points they can get to make it to the postseason. Forward Kai Koreniuk leads all of LA's goalscorers with nine on the season, with Ethan Zubak at eight and Augustine Williams at seven.
