
Rains Wash Away Game for the Rox

BROCKTON, MA - (July 23, 2009) - Scheduled to start a four-game series against the American Defenders of New Hampshire on Thursday night at Campanelli Stadium, the Brockton Rox were rained out instead. Brockton and New Hampshire will make up the game on Friday night with a double header scheduled for 5:05 PM.
Friday night will consist of two, seven-inning games. Brockton will start LHP Fraser Robinson (5-2, 3.81 ERA) in game one against New Hampshire's RHP Nick Asselin (6-3, 3.90 ERA). In the night cap, RHP Freddy Flores (2-1, 3.65 ERA) will take the ball for the Rox against New Hampshire's RHP Luis Valdez (0-3, 5.00 ERA).
