
Rainiers win over Bees

Three Tacoma pitchers combined to throw a five-hitter as the Rainiers rolled to a 6-2 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday night. Starter Garrett Olson (1-0) allowed just one hit over five innings to get the victory and hand Salt Lake its third straight loss. Down 6-0, the Bees got on the board as Michael Ryan delivered a two-run double with two outs in the eighth inning as he extends his hitting streak to eight games.
Marco Albano (0-2) took the loss as he gave up four runs on nine hits in six innings with three strikeouts and one walk. Hainley Statia had a pair of singles to lead the Bees, while Terry Evans and Robb Quinlan each singled for Salt Lake's other two hits.
