Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
Wilmington, DE - The Wilmington Blue Rocks scheduled contest with the Winston-Salem Dash has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. The Rocks and Dash are not scheduled to meet again during the 2010 regular season, so no makeup game will be scheduled.
Wilmington will welcome the Salem Red Sox to town on Friday night for the opener of a three-game set at 7:05 p.m. *Aaron Crow (1-1, 5.65)* is scheduled to take the hill for the Rocks against Salem right-hander Brock Huntzinger (7-6, 3.96).
As is the case with every Friday game at Frawley Stadium in 2010, there will be a postgame fireworks show. This week's fireworks are sponsored by the Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. For tickets call * 302-888-BLUE* or visit bluerocks.com.
