Rain Washes Out Rock Cats Today

New Britain Rock Cats News Release

New Britain, CT - This afternoon's 1:35 PM scheduled Eastern League game between the Rock Cats and Harrisburg at New Britain Stadium has been postponed due to rain and attendant wet field conditions.

The on-field Pink in the Park events planned for today - the Rock Cats' annual partnership with the CT Breast Health Initiative to celebrate the courage and determination of individuals and families living full lives after such a diagnosis - will be rescheduled for a later date as well.

All fans holding tickets for today's game may exchange them for any remaining 2010 Regular Season Rock Cats game to be played at New Britain Stadium.

There is no make-up date yet scheduled. Harrisburg will return to New Britain for three games in mid-June; it is highly likely that today's postponed contest will be made up at that time.
