ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Last night, the SeaWolves came from behind to take down the Curve 4-3. In back-to-back games, the Howlers have used a late home run (Scram on Friday and St. Pierre on Saturday) to pick up the wins. Gagnier takes the mound for the 'Wolves making his fourth start and first against Altoona. Gagnier picked up a win in his last start against Bowie going 7.2 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with a walk and seven strikeouts. Gagnier has left all three of his starts with a lead...Righty Jared Hughes takes the mound for Altoona making his fourth start and first against Erie. Hughes has picked up wins in all three of his starts and has allowed three earned runs in 15.2 IP. He held Akron hitless in five shutout innings in his last start...In six games against the SeaWolves, Curve infielder Jim Negrych is hitting .391 with a home run and 11 RBI (11 of his 12 RBI against Erie)...Erie is hitting .275 against Altoona pitching in six games this season. In four games against the Curve, Max St. Pierre is hitting .545 with three home runs and six RBI. All three of St. Pierre's home runs have come against the Curve.
