Rain on the Grand Strand Postpones Mudcats/Pelicans

Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Rain on the Eastern Seaboard forced the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Carolina Mudcats to move their series opener to Wednesday, August 13, as part of a doubleheader. The two clubs will meet for a pair of seven-inning games with the first beginning at 6:05 p.m. There will be 30 minutes between the two ends of the doubleheader.
This will be the seventh doubleheader of the year for the Mudcats and first against the Pelicans.
The Mudcats return home to host the Frederick Keys for three games from August 19-21. Fans can purchase tickets or find more information by calling (919) 269-2287 or by visiting carolinamudcats.com.
