
RailHawks out in the community this weekend

Cary, NC (Friday, August 15, 2008) - The Carolina RailHawks are out in the community this weekend and would like to meet their fans. On Saturday, August 16, members of the RailHawks will be at Dickey's BBQ at Crossroads Shopping Plaza in Cary between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to meet and greet people, sign autographs and take photos. Fans of all ages are invited to go and meet their favorite players and visit Crossroads Shopping Plaza in Cary to see what they have to offer.
On Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. RailHawks midfielder Ross Mackenzie will be at Deep South the Bar , in downtown Raleigh, participating in a celebrity bartending event to benefit the Wake County SPCA. 100% of tips and 20% of sales will go to the SPCA and Mackenzie will be joined by Alli Morgan of 96 Rock and fitness model Nikki Miller. Fans are encouraged to go to Deep South the Bar and support the SPCA while enjoying some time with these three celebrities. Deep South the Bar is located at 430 Dawson Street on the corner of Cabarrus and the event starts at 8:00 p.m.
The RailHawks embark on the second to last road trip of the season next week as they visit Minnesota on August 22 and Seattle on August 24 before returning home to host the Montreal Impact on Saturday, August 30 at 7:30 p.m. All away games may be viewed on USLLive.com and tickets for the August 30 match may be purchased at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-KICK (5425), at all Ticketmaster outlets or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com.
