Cary, NC (Thursday, July 24, 2008) - The USL's W-League announced the final Team of the Week list of the 2008 season on Wednesday. RailHawks midfielder and W-League veteran Amanda Mueller was among the best eleven of week 14. Mueller was honored for her game winning goal against the Richmond Kickers Destiny on July 20 that put an end to a successful season for the fourth place RailHawks.

"Amanda has been a great late addition to our team," said Railhawks Women Head Coach Jay Howell. "We had noticed her at tryout last December and she had been coming to practice since day one. She has been an inspiration to the team and her Team of the Week honor is well deserved."

The RailHawks USL First Division team is on the road for the next two league matches in Portland on July 24 and Vancouver on July 26. The team returns home to host the Vancouver Whitecaps on Friday August 1 at WakeMed Soccer Park at 8:00 p.m. in the second of four nationally televised games. Fans are encouraged to wear their orange colors as the theme of the night will be "Orange Out". Tickets for this and all RailHawks events are available at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-KICK, at all Ticketmaster outlets or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com.
