RailHawks Fall in Rochester
July 6, 2007 - USL First Division (USL-1)
North Carolina FC News Release
The Carolina RailHawks played the first of two road games on Friday night as they visited PAETEC Park to face the Rochester Rhinos in a rematch of last June's epic battle. The final score was 2-1 for the Rhinos as a stoppage time header by Hamed Diallo broke a tie that lasted eighty minutes. It was a hard fought battle played back and forth between the 18 yard boxes with little midfield play.
Next the Carolina RailHawks will travel to Canada to face the Montreal Impact on Sunday July 8th before returning to SAS Soccer Park in Cary on July 13th at 7:30 PM to host Montreal in the second of their three regular season games.
