
RailHawks Announce Adult Tournament

CARY, N.C. (June 3, 2010) - The Carolina RailHawks today announced they will host a 6-on-6 adult soccer tournament at WakeMed Soccer Park July 31-August 1.
The RailHawks Kick 6 will be held on Saturday July 31 and Sunday Aug. 1. Games will be played on small-sided fields with five field players and one goalkeeper per team. Teams will be placed into groups of five and are guaranteed four 25-minute matches during the group phase. A single-elimination knockout tournament will follow the group stage.
Tournament registration is underway and will remain open until July 23 at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $395 per team, and teams can carry no more than 10 members. Each team member will receive one Premium ticket to the RailHawks' July 31 match against the Vancouver Whitecaps and a team photo.
The tournament is open to men and women 18 and over.
The RailHawks Kick 6 champion will earn a $1,000 cash prize. The runner-up will earn $500 cash and the third-place finisher will take home $250. Other prizes include RailHawks tickets and RailHawks merchandise.
