
RailCats Sign RHP Kyle Wilson

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The RailCats have announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Kyle Wilson. He will be the starting pitcher for tonight's game against St. Paul at 7:05 p.m. The RailCats roster is now at the American Association limit of 23.
Wilson, 29, is from Los Angeles, California and most recently pitched for Chico of the North American League last season, where he was 2-4 in eight appearances, seven of which were starts.
A former 21st round draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004, Wilson spent parts of four seasons within the Dodgers organization, reaching as high as Double-A Jacksonville in 2008.
In 2007 with A+ Inland Empire, Wilson recorded a career-high 14 saves, good for third in the California League. In 25 relief appearances that season, he posted a 1.09 ERA in 33 innings, striking out 30 batters while allowing just five walks.
