OCONOMOWOC, WI. - The Gary SouthShore RailCats won a low-scoring game against the Lake Country DockHounds 1-0 on Tuesday evening.

The DockHounds started Alex McRae, the righthander from West Allis, WI. He pitched a very solid game giving up just one earned run in seven innings of work. He also struck out five batters.

But the DockHounds couldn't get any runs across home plate that evening, as they would be shut out by the RailCats.

Gary SouthShore didn't have an easy time knocking in runners either, as they scored just once in the fourth inning.

Michael Woodworth started off the inning with a single and a stolen base to get himself into scoring position. Daniel Lingua then drove him in with a single as well, to make the score 1-0 RailCats leading.

The DockHounds did have runners in scoring position throughout the course of the game, but weren't able to score any in a 1-0 loss.

McRae was given the loss, although his performance was strong to say the least. Gary SouthShore's starter Harrison Francis earned the win with five strikeouts and five hits allowed in six innings. Jack Eisenbarger was credited with the save.

Lake Country will continue their four-game series against the Gary SouthShore RailCats on Wednesday, June 6th at 6:35 p.m.
