Gary Southshore Pull Out Game Three Behind Strong Pitching

OCONOMOWOC, WI. - The Gary SouthShore RailCats won again in Oconomowoc, defeating the Lake Country 5-1.

The scoring began in the third inning when Jake Snider stole second and third base. TJ Bennett drove him in with a single.

The RailCats wouldn't score until the sixth inning when first baseman Chris Burgess hit a solo homerun on a 2-1 count.

Michael Woodworth stole third base and scored off a sacrifice fly by Daniel Lingua. The score would sit 2-1 RailCats.

Gary SouthShore would score three more runs in the eighth inning. Lingua reached on a ground-rule double, scoring Javeyan Williams.

The scoring would end when Zach Racusin singled to drive in Woodworth and Lingua.

The final score would end 5-1, RailCats winning.

Lake Country will wrap up their four-game series against the Gary SouthShore RailCats on Wednesday, June 9th at 6:35 p.m.
