RailCats Announce 2013 Schedule

GARY, Ind. - The RailCats will open the 2013 season at home at U. S. Steel Yard on Thursday, May 16 against the Lincoln Saltdogs. The 2013 campaign will be the franchise's 12th season overall and 11th at U. S. Steel Yard.

The RailCats are beginning their third season as a member of the 13-team American Association, as part of the five-team Central Division. The regular season consists of 100 games, including 50 at home at U. S. Steel Yard.

The 2013 schedule features an 11-game homestand for the RailCats from June 20-30. The RailCats will play 10 home games in May, 17 in June, 8 in July and 15 in August and early September. They will play seven home games on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, six on Thursday, seven on Friday and eight on Saturday and Sunday.=9A Game times are to be announced.

In the coming months, the RailCats will unveil a full schedule of promotions, theme nights and giveaways for the 2013 season. Fans are encouraged to keep up with the RailCats online at www.railcatsbaseball.com, as well as on their Facebook and twitter pages.
