RailCats Agree to Trade Stephens

GARY, Ind. - The Gary South Shore Railcats agreed to a trade on Saturday, sending right-handed pitcher Coleman Stephens to the Amarillo Sox in exchange for right handed pitcher Ian Kadish.

In 2014, Stephens went 1-1 with an ERA of 6.23 in 10 appearances for Gary, eight of which were relief outings. The Arlington, Texas native threw a total of 21.2 innings.

Kadish has made three appearances to this point, allowing one earned run in 3.1 innings pitched for Amarillo. The 25 year-old played collegiately at Marshall University and has pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays organization as a member of the Vancouver Canadiens of the Northwest League, as well as the Lansing Lugnuts of the Midwest League.

The Railcats play their second of a three game set against the St. Paul Saints on Saturday night. The game will be broadcasted on WEFM and online at railcatsbaseball.com.
