Raiders sign Campese as GM and Head Coach Throught 2010

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Dale McFee, President of the Prince Albert Raiders, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the community owned Western Hockey League franchise, is pleased to announce that they have signed Bruno Campese as General Manager and Head Coach through the 2009-2010 WHL season, with an additional club option year.

Campese was hired as the 11th Head Coach of the franchise on June 21st, 2007, then assumed duties as the Interim General Manager January 14, 2008.

"The board is very happy to come to terms with Bruno as our General Manager and Head Coach for the foreseeable future", commented McFee. "We feel Bruno has the knowledge, the energy and commitment to build a champion. He has a proven track record and has helped our club take significant strides in a positive direction over the past couple of months."

Campese was the Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations of the Penticton Vees of the BCHL from 2004-07, winning regular season divisional pennants in 2005-06 and 2006-07 and a division championship in 2005-06. Campese has a Masters in Education from Eastern Washington University.

"I am privileged that the Prince Albert Raiders organization has put the trust in me to lead this team," said Campese. "We are committed to continue to build a model franchise in the Western Hockey League."
