Rage Sign Back-up Goaltender

December 8, 2007 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Rocky Mountain Rage News Release

Broomfield, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Rage signed goaltender Guy St. Vincent today to back-up Scott Reid while fellow netminder Terry Dunbar serves a Central Hockey League-imposed suspension.

St. Vincent is in his fourth year of professional hockey, having spent most of last season in the Southern Professional Hockey League with the Pee Dee Cyclones. He did play five games in the CHL last year, though, which included a victory over the Rage while he was with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.

To make room on the roster for St. Vincent, the team released goaltender Hugh Boylan.

Rocky Mountain hosts the Wichita Thunder tonight at Broomfield Event Center at 7:05 p.m. and looks to win its third straight game after defeating the Mudbugs last night, 5-4 in a shootout, behind three goals from the league's leading scorer, Scott Wray.

Tonight's clash with the Thunder features the Rage's annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are asked to bring a brand new, unwrapped teddy bear to throw onto the ice during intermission. The stuffed animals will be donated to the Broomfield Police, North Metro Fire, Kunsberg School, and Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Following the game, the entire team will attend a post-game party at the Old Chicago Restaurant in Superior at U.S. 36 and McCaslin Blvd. Fans are invited to meet the team, get autographs, and congratulate the boys for their great start to the season.

Tickets for the game are on sale now with prices ranging from $18-$43 per seat (parking included). Fans can purchase tickets at Broomfield Event Center's box office or through Ticketmaster by logging-on to www.Ticketmaster.com, calling (303) 830-TIXS, or visiting any Ticketmaster retail outlet.

Season tickets, mini-packs, and group plans are also still available by calling 303-439-RAGE. For more information, visit www.rockymountainrage.com.
