CHL leader Laredo comes into tonight's game looking to get back on the winning track against Corpus Christi.

Last night the Bucks fell 3-2 in a shootout to the Texas Brahmas. The Bucks jumped out early on the Brahmas taking a 1-0 lead in the first period, with Texas then scoring two straight goals, one in the second period, and one in the third to take a 2-1 lead. Rane Carnegie tied the game at two with just 1:48 left in the third period. With niether team scoring in overtime, the Brahmas scored twice in the shootout to win the game. Bucks goaltender Kevin Beech fell to 6-0-1 in net, stopping 25 Texas shots.

The Bucks are led in scoring by Jeff Bes, who is 4th in the league with 35 points (14-21=35), while Chris Korchinski is 13th in the league with 25 points (10-15=25).

Corpus Christi (5-12-2) comes into tonight's game well rested having had Friday night off. The Rayz played their annual school day game on Wednesday and lost to the Arizona Sundogs 5-1. The Rayz fell behind the Sundogs 4-0 until Kevin Watters scored in the third period pulling Corpus to within 4-1. But that's as close as it would get as Arizona tacked on another goal late in the third.

The Rayz have a balanced scoring attack, with Brent Howarth leading the team with 19 points (9-10=19), followed by Justin Quennville with 18 points (8-10=18), and Joe Blaznek and Geno Parrish each with 16 points.

Jason Tapp has seen the majority of time between the pipes going 5-10-2 with a 3.31 goals against average, and a .899 save percentage.

Tapp was in net last Saturday as the Rayz came from behind to beat the Bucks, scoring three third period goals in a 3-2 triumph at the LEC.

The Bucks, who outshot the Rayz last Saturday 41-20, could not hold a 1-0 lead going into the third period.

The Bucks are 3-1 against the Rayz so far this season, including 1-0 at the American Bank Center. On October 28th Laredo shutout Corpus 2-0 with Dustin Traylen stopped all 18 Rayz shots.

After tonight's game the Bucks are right back at it again tomorrow afternoon as they host Southwest Division leading Arizona at 4pm. Family four pack tickets (four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas) are available for $48.

All December when you buy any size soda at Bucks games you get a free hot dog courtesy of Westwind homes. The Bucks are slashing merchandise prices until December 22nd, giving season ticket holders a 25% discount, while non-season ticket holders receiving a 15% discount on all Bucks merchandise.
