Rafters Postponed, Will Play Double Header with St Cloud on Wednesday

St. Cloud, MN- Due to inclement weather in the St. Cloud, Minn. area, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (29-35, 10-19) and the St. Cloud Rox (32-32, 18-11) ballgame scheduled for 7:05 p.m. from Joe Faber Field on Tuesday night has been postponed due to heavy rainfall. The two-teams will play a double header on Wednesday, August 7th at Joe Faber Field with the first of the two games beginning at 7:05 p.m. and the second scheduled to follow after the conclusion of the first game. Both games are scheduled for seven innings apiece.

The Rafters this season are 3-3 in double headers with the last double-header occurring on July 26 when the Lakeshore Chinooks and Rafters made up a postponed ballgame from July 21.

First pitch from Joe Faber Field is scheduled for 7:05 p.m., with John Kravetz scheduled to toe the rubber for Wisconsin Rapids. Fans can listen to tomorrow nights ballgame by tuning into WFHR 1320 AM.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are members of the 16-team summer collegiate Northwoods League. The Rafters will play a 70 game schedule with 35 home games in 2013.
