Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (13-11) look to rebound from back-to-back losses and earn the two-game split with the Wisconsin Woodchucks (7-18). Last night, the Rafters ran into an onslaught from the Woodchucks who scored nine times on twelve hits.

The Woodchucks scored five runs in the second inning alone due to two solo home runs and a three-run double. They struck again an inning later with an RBI double and two-run single before capping things off in the sixth with their third solo home run of the evening.

The Rafters scored twice in the fourth with an RBI sac fly from Jack-Thomas Wold (UNLV) and an RBI groundout from Mitch Mallek (St. Cloud State). Woodchucks pitching held the Rafters' offense down for most of the night allowing just four hits.

Chandler Greenfield (2-0, 1.84 ERA) will take the hill for Wisconsin Rapids. Greenfield has thrown a total of 14.2 innings out of the Rafters bullpen to good results. The righty from Dixie State has struck out sixteen in six appearances while walking five.

Alec Abdalah (1-1, 2,34 ERA) will start for the Woodchucks. This will be Abdalah's five start of the year. In 23.0 innings, the right-hander from Los Angeles Harbor College has allowed six runs on 20 hits and struck out twelve.

First pitch from Athletic Park is scheduled for 3:05 pm CT.
