Racing Louisville FC News Release
Racing Louisville FC completed the signing of national team replacement players Hannah Adler and Isabella Beletic, the club announced Thursday.
They agreed to short-term contracts to help fill out Racing's roster with five team members on international duty through much of July. Beletic moved to the senior team from Racing's USL W League squad, while Adler arrived in Louisville after a stint with Danish club Aalborg BK.
Both will be available for selection in Racing's 8 p.m. Friday match against NY/NJ Gotham FC at Lynn Family Stadium.
"I'm really excited to be a part of Racing Louisville," Beletic said, "and I can't wait to improve my game with the girls here."
"It's such a professional environment here," Adler said, "and I think I will learn a lot and grow a lot playing with such established players. I'm really excited to be a part of Racing Louisville."
Beletic is a 23-year-old defender and midfielder who played in 11 matches for Racing's W League team, scoring one goal and adding an assist. She joins Allison Whitfield, another W League prospect who moved to the senior team as an NTRP after playing in the nation's premier pre-professional circuit.
A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Beletic starred at University of Incarnate Word, where she tallied eight goals and five assists in 79 appearances and was a three-time all-conference selection.
Adler, 24, is a midfielder who made four appearances with Aalborg last season. The California native was a three-time all-league performer in four years at the University of Denver, racking up 25 goals and 18 assists in helping the Pioneers to two NCAA Tournament appearances.
