Racing Louisville midfielder Taylor Flint received team of the month honors for her hot start to the season, the National Women's Soccer League announced.
Flint was named to the league's Best XI, presented by Amazon Prime, for the months of March and April after a standout seven games for Racing, playing every minute while helping the Louisville club to its first six-match unbeaten run.
"I am so honored to be a part of the Best XI," Flint said. "It wouldn't have been possible without my team putting in the work day in and day out. I'm grateful to be a part of this organization and will keep grinding throughout this season!"
A commanding presence in the middle of the field, Flint ranks first in the NWSL in blocked shots, interceptions and tackles won; second in duels won; fourth in aerial duels won; fifth in possession recoveries among non-goalkeepers; and sixth in blocked shots. She's third on the team in progressive passes and shots on target.
The Nevada native was acquired by Racing via trade this offseason with the San Diego Wave, who she helped win the 2023 NWSL Shield after becoming the league's first expansion team to reach the playoffs in 2022. She broke into the NWSL with the Orlando Pride, which drafted her third overall in the 2020 NWSL Draft.
Flint has made 12 appearances for the U.S. Women's National Team, scoring two goals and helping the Stars and Stripes to a Concacaf Women's Championship in 2022.
