Quinnel Shines in Return to Halifax

(HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA) Quinnel Brown reminded the Halifax Rainmen what a gifted player he is, dropping a game high 21 points in Windsor's 104-84 win Thursday night.
After a long travel day, the Express (10-5) got off to a sluggish start but carried a 47-43 halftime lead before erupting in the second half, outscoring the Rainmen (0-10) 57-41 .
Brown, who was acquired by Windsor from Halifax in the offseason, also had five rebounds.
Five Express players brought down seven rebounds each, as the team outworked the Rainmen 50-37 on the boards.
Chris Commons had 18 points for Windsor and Stefan Bonneau added 19.
Halifax, who is still looking for their first win of the season, got 21 points from Steve Sir.
Windsor is back in action on Saturday, December 14th when they arrive at Harbour Station to face the Saint John Mill Rats at 7:00pm Atlantic Time.
The next Windsor home game is Friday, December 20th, when the Halifax Rainmen visit the WFCU Centre for a 7:00pm start.
