
Quinnel Brown Named NBL MVP

(WINDSOR, ON) Windsor forward, Quinnel Brown has been selected as Most Valuable Player of the National Basketball League of Canada for the 2014-2015 season.
Brown becomes the first player in the history of the Windsor Express franchise to be named league MVP.
The 6'6 Chicago native was a catalyst for the Express this season, leading them to the best regular season record in the NBL for the second year in a row.
Brown averaged 20.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in 30 regular season contests.
He led the team in points per game, rebounds per game, defensive rebounds, minutes played, field goals made and total points.
Brown has stepped his game up even more in the postseason, averaging 24.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists to bring his team to the NBL Finals for the second straight season.
Quinnel Brown and the rest of his Express teammates host the Halifax Rainmen on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:00pm at the WFCU Centre for Game 1 of the NBL Finals.
Game 2 will follow on Friday, April 17th, also at the WFCU Centre at 7:00pm.
