Quebec Les Capitales News Release
Quebec broke out of their three-game losing funk in a big way, banging out 23 hits in a 17-1 annihilation of Bangor. The Capitales spread the offense around, as every Capitales starter had at least two hits, led by RF Benoit Emond, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI. Despite entering the game in one of the least stressful relief situations in baseball history, newcomer Brett Lawson got the save in his first appearance for Quebec by virtue of having pitched three innings of effective relief.
