Lake Elsinore, CA - The Quakes scored a series-win in Lake Elsinore, taking the rubber-game of the three-game set on Sunday afternoon by a final of 11-2 at "The Diamond" in Lake Elsinore.

Five different Quakes enjoyed a multi-hit game, as Rancho won for the tenth time in 12 head-to-head meetings against the Storm this year.

A five-run fifth broke open a scoreless game, as RBI singles from Mairo Martinus, Victor Rodrigues and Jackson Nicklaus helped to build a 5-0 lead against Storm starter Abraham Parra (2-3).

Sterling Patick gave the Quakes four scoreless innings to start, but it was Domingo Geronimo (5-0) who was credited with the win, after allowing just one unearned run over two innings of work.

The Quakes blew it open with a six-run seventh, as Samuel Munoz, Martinus and Oswaldo Osorio each had a run-scoring hit, giving Rancho an 11-1 lead.

The Quakes (50-40, 9-15) will take Monday off, then open a six-game set against the Visalia Rawhide on Tuesday night at LoanMart Field. Logan Tabeling is set to throw for Rancho in the series-opener at 6:30pm.
