Quad City Steamwheelers News Release
The Quad City Steamwheelers, defending Champions of the IFL's Eastern Conference, have signed defensive back Tyree Bostick.
As a freshman at Bethel College in 2016, Bostick notched 48 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and an interception.
Director of Player Personnel Ryan Michael told SteamwheelersFootball.com "Tyree is an explosive playmaker who does not shy away from contact. His ability to take receivers down and end plays forces opposing offenses to always account for his presence on the field. We're very excited about what he'll bring to camp."
Versatility is a great strength of Bostick's, having experience playing free safety, nickel and cornerback. He joins a talented secondary, with the Steamwheelers having also signed defensive backs Tajik Bagley, Michael Johnson and Albert Green IV.
"Tyree can play both safety and corner. He is smooth in man coverage and very smart in zone coverage. He has the speed and length to keep up with anyone. " said Steamwheelers Head Coach Cory Ross.
