PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Andrew Pullin crushed his second grand slam of the season, putting an exclamation point on an 11-run sixth inning in the Clearwater Threshers 12-2 win over the Charlotte Stone Crabs.

Pullin turned in a huge series for Clearwater, as the Threshers took three-of-four from the FSL South First Half Champions. The Threshers have now won 10 of their last 11 games.

The Threshers outfielder finished 8-for-18 (.444) across four games, collecting 10 RBI's including two home runs. Pullin leads Clearwater with seven long balls this year, and is now tied for second in Florida State League with 46 RBI's.

Clearwater (5-1) held a 1-0 lead early on, thanks to Devin Lohman's first homer of the year. Lohman lifted a solo shot against lefty Chris Kirsch to open the third inning.

Kirsch (4-4) had settled in after that to retire nine straight, before Chase Harris and Malquin Canelo dropped back-to-back bloop singles to open the sixth inning.

Carlos Tocci squared to bunt, but was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Pullin then hit a chop to first that resulted in a force out of Tocci at second base, but allowed Harris to cross the plate with the first run of the frame.

The flood gates opened after that.

Rhys Hoskins walked to re-load the bases, and the next five batters all connected for RBI singles to bump the Threshers advantage up to 7-0. Canelo then lifted a sac fly off reliever Eduar Quinonez to make it an eight-run game.

Tocci hit a grounder toward the hole at short, but shortstop Pat Blair's throw to second pulled Kean Wong off the bag, allowing the inning to continue for Pullin.

Pullin, who owned the Threshers only grand slam of the year entering Tuesday, delivered yet again.

He launched a 1-0 pitch from Quinonez into the Stone Crabs bullpen to put four more runs on the board, capping off an 11-run inning for Clearwater.

It was the largest offensive outpouring for the Threshers in any frame this year, and Pullin's five RBI were also the most in a game for any Threshers player in 2015.

Not to be overlooked, David Whitehead dominated on the hill and turned in his best outing of the season. Whitehead (5-6) shut out the Stone Crabs on just three singles and a walk across a season-high seven innings.

Whitehead needed just 66 pitches - 46 of which were strikes - and retired each of the last 13 men he faced.

Clearwater will look to keep rolling as the Threshers return home on Wednesday, welcoming in the Tampa Yankees for a three-game set. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. with Victor Arano (1-7) on the hill, and the call can be heard live on the Threshers Broadcast Network beginning at 6:45 p.m.
