Spokane Chiefs prospect Grady Lane has been named to Team Manitoba for the 2019 Canada Winter Games, as announced by Hockey Manitoba on Wednesday. Lane was the Chiefs' eighth round (156th overall) pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

Current Chiefs Jaret Anderson-Dolan and Ty Smith were among the representatives at the last Canada Winter Games in 2015.

The Chiefs return to Spokane Arena on Friday, December 28 as they'll host the Everett Silvertips on Fred Meyer Calendar Giveaway Night. The first 3,000 fans through the doors will receive a 2019 calendar courtesy of Fred Meyer.
