Promotions-A-Plenty for This Weekend

Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks begin a nine game home stand over the next six days on Friday, July 4th. As usual, the stretch is packed with promotions.

Friday, the Lumberjacks open up against the Allentown (PA) Ambassadors with the first of three doubleheaders in a row. The first game begins at 5 PM, with gates opening at 4 PM. Friday is Lumberjack Hat Giveaway Night, courtesy of UniFirst Corporation. All season, ten-pack, and five-pack ticket holders will receive a free Lumberjacks hat from UniFirst. Hats will also be given out to the first few hundred fans through the gate.

Saturday, the Jacks celebrate America's Birthday with a fantastic fireworks show after the 5 PM doubleheader. The Lumberjacks will also be wearing special Patriotic jerseys and hats that will be available for fans to take home via a silent auction.

Sunday is WEZQ 92.9 FM's Family Fun Day. Fans may purchase a WEZQ Jack Pack to the 2 PM doubleheader, which includes four reserved tickets to Sunday's games, four hot dogs, four souvenir programs, a pre-game ball toss on the field and a post game running of the bases, along with a piñata courtesy of Cumulus Broadcasting for the kids. Jack Packs are available at the Lumberjacks Pro Shop in the Bangor Mall or at the ticket window the day of the game.

Monday, the Lumberjacks welcome the North Shore (MA) Spirit to town with a game beginning at 7:15 PM. Gates open at 6. Tuesday is Two for Tuesday. Fans who purchase a general admission or reserved ticket receive another ticket of equal or lesser value, free! The series with the Spirit, the home stand, and the first half of the Northeast League season, conclude with the game on Wednesday that has a 7:15 PM start. Q106.5 will be broadcasting live from the game and Day's Jewelers will be giving away a pair of diamond earrings valued at $500 for the Lumberjacks "Diamonds at the Diamond Night," so if you would like to spruce you ears up, come to see the Jacks Wednesday night.
