
Promising Center Joins Reign

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings, announced the signing of experienced rookie, Pierre-Andre Bureau to a standard contract for the 2010-11 season.
Bureau, 26, got his start at 16 with the Prince Edward Island Rockets (formerly Montreal Rockets) of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He tallied 239 points (87g, 152a) in five seasons with the team (2000-05). He then attended the Universite de Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada from 2005-2009 where he posted 112 points (42g, 70a) in 110 games as a Agiles Bleus (Blue Eagle).
Bureau's #22 jersey hangs in the rafters of the Rockets' arena, as the club retired the popular center's number in 2009. The St. Georges Beauce, Quebec native holds the QMJHL record for most games played with a single team (346) and played his rookie season under assistant coach Daniele Sauvageau, the first female coach in QMJHL history.
The start of the Reign's third season will be on Saturday, October 23, 2010 against the Stockton Thunder at 7:00 PM. Mini-plans are on sale now for as low as $85 and full-seasons start at just $325.
