
Pyle to Assist at Thrashers Prospects Evaluation Camp

Gwinnett Gladiators Head Coach Jeff Pyle will serve as a coach for the Atlanta Thrashers Prospect Evaluation Camp at the Duluth IceForum from September 13th through 16th.
Thrashers Assistant Coach Mike Stothers and Thrashers Manager of Player Development and Hockey Administration Ryan Bowness along with Pyle will direct all on-ice sessions through the duration of the camp.
Pyle also assisted with the Thrashers Prospect Development Camp earlier this summer from July 8th through 13th at the Duluth IceForum. Including this past July, Pyle has assisted at the Camp in six of the past eight years.
In addition, Pyle served as the Head Coach for the Thrashers Prospects at the Traverse City Prospects Tournament in 2006. Over the past seven seasons, Pyle has assisted at the Thrashers main training camp each year.
The Prospect Evaluation Camp will feature 24 players including former Gladiator Michael Forney. The Thief River Falls, Minnesota, native had 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in 63 games with Gwinnett last year. He also skated in three games with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League last season.
At the conclusion of the camp, players will be selected to participate in the Thrashers main training camp. On-ice sessions begin on September 18th at the Duluth Ice Forum and are open to the public.
