December 8, 2015 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Lincoln Stars News Release
Lincoln, Neb. - Chayse Primeau will join the Stars as a replacement player while Ludvig Hoff and Grant Jozefek are playing internationally, the team announced on Tuesday.
Primeau has 15 goals and 14 assists through 24 games with the Philadelphia Revolution of the Eastern Hockey League.
"Chayse is a player we've become familiar with over the past couple seasons," Stars GM Jon Hull said. "His play last year impressed us enough to draft him and his play throughout the start of this season has made him a player we want to see play at this level."
The Stars drafted Primeau, a Canisius College commit, in the 2015 Phase II draft. He will occupy one of two roster spots vacated by Hoff and Jozefek who are attending international tournaments from Dec. 13-19
Hoff is playing for Team Norway at the Division I IIHF World Junior Championship in Vienna, Austria while Jozefek is representing the United States at the World Junior A Challenge in Cobourg and Whitby, Ontario.
The Stars return to action Friday, December 11th against the Omaha Lancers at the Ice Box. For tickets and more information log on to lincolnstars.com.
