Pride to Host Third Annual Stars and Bars

(NASHUA, N.H. - July 30th, 2008) The Nashua Pride have announced today that the team will host the third annual Stars and Bars charity softball game at Historic Holman Stadium on Monday, August 11th at 6pm. Pride players and staff will team with bartenders from Penuche's, the Peddler's Daughter, Margaritas, Fody's, the Amber Room and the Nashua Garden for a night of fun, laughs, and softball to support the Big Brother Big Sister chapter of Nashua.

The game is scheduled to go seven innings, however, shall the game time reach two hours a new inning will not be started. After the game is over, Pride fans over 21 years of age are invited to join the Pride players and staff in the Pride Crawl through the taverns of Main Street in Nashua (to start at approximately 8:30pm).

Tickets for the event are available at just $7; included in the price of the ticket are admission to the game, two hot dogs and a beverage of your choice. A portion of all the proceeds will be donated to the Big Brother Big Sister chapter of Nashua. Tickets can be purchased at the Pride box office during regular hours, or through bartenders from the participating area bars.
